African Waist beads are a symbol of femininity, fertility, sensuality, and spiritual well-being. Our Authentic Waist beads are handmade using glass beads by a group of Maasai women in Kenya.
Many cultures give them to young girls as initiation gifts as they transition from puberty to woman hood. They are also given as wedding gifts to embrace their sexuality on the first night after their wedding ceremony. Waist beads are also used to curb weight gain and maintain shapely waistlines.
Canaries are seed-eating birds that are small to moderately large and have a strong beak, usually conical and in some species very large. All have twelve tail feathers and nine primaries. These birds have a bouncing flight with alternating bouts of flapping and gliding on closed wings, and most sing well.
Please measure your waist carefully before placing an order. If you are in between sizes, order the next size up for a more comfortable fit. Returns are not accepted due to human error.
